About the artist:
Susan Day has designed various pieces of furniture. Day is interested in the relationship between forms and planes in both interior and exterior settings. There are many symbols from different cultures incorporated in Day's work, they include the Buddhist infinity symbol, petroglyphs, DNA sequences to name a few.

The benches have coverings in 100% Persian wool. The wood rails are poplar with acrylic seal with clear coat enamel. They are structurally sound and functional.
